On June 10th at approximately 1:00 pm, Sergeant Bryant conducted a traffic stop on a speeding vehicle within the city limits of Thayer. As a result of the traffic stop, Caleb Perez, 32, of Pacomia, California was arrested and placed on a 24 hour hold pending formal charges. During the stop, Perez was found to be in possession of multiple different controlled substances of various quantities. The controlled substances recovered during the traffic stop were identified as Xanax, cocaine, psilocybin mushrooms, acid, and ecstasy. A felony warrant for possession of controlled substance has been issued for Perez through the Oregon County Circuit Court. Bond has been set at $25,000 cash or corporate surety. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
